Fastball St. Albert fundraises through working community bingos. We offer you an opportunity to lower your registration fees by volunteering for a bingo. There is no requirement to work a bingo, however credit for $75.00 will be applied to your registration fee for each bingo you do work.

How does it work?

Bingos are filled on a first come first serve basis. You may also put your name on a spare list if you wish to be considered for short-notice calls. Please note that a postdated cheque for $75.00 must be provided for each bingo you sign-up for.

If you are signing up to work a bingo, then at registration, we ask you to supply your registration in the form of two payments. One will be a post-dated cheque for $75.00 and the other for the difference of the registration fee. You then sign up for a bingo. We do not cash that $75.00 cheque. After you have worked the bingo, we will hand you back your cheque. If for some reason you cannot work the bingo - the cheque will be cashed. Now - if you have already paid your registration, then you will either be refunded the $75.00 or you can keep it as a credit for next season.

Note, that in previous years, there used to be a limit on the number of bingos that you could work. We are no longer limiting those, but certainly anyone with more than one child in the Fastball St. Albert program can have the opportunity to work a "second" or "third" bingo to help with registration fees.

The only restriction on working bingos, is that you must be 18 years of age or older.

What if I forget?

Well - this will be unlikely. Tara, our bingo coordinator, will give every bingo volunteer a reminder phone call about 5 to 7 days before the day of the event.

What Bingo dates will I work?

Typically you would sign up for a date that "works for you" on a first-come first-serve basis, however for 2010 the only date that is available is the evening of May 12, 2010. Book now if you would like to earn a credit by e-mailing Tara.
