NEW for 2010!! Registration Incentive Campaign

As an attempt to bring more players into the city league, Fastball St. Albert is offering an incentive to bring in players that did not play last year. If a player from last year registers AND refers a friend (that was not registered in 2009) to register then the following happens:

1. The new registrant receives their choice of a hat or a water bottle
2. The new registrant’s name (plus the name of the person that referred them) is entered in to a draw. At the beginning of the season, a new registrant’s name will be drawn. That person will receive a Source for Sports $50 gift certificate and the referring friend will receive a Source for Sports $200 gift certificate.

**Both players must have paid the registration fully to qualify.

1) In what age division will my child play?

The division in which your child plays is determined by their year of birth. Please see the following table for City-League details.

2) What are the registration fees?

The registration fees for 2010 are as follows:

3) Is there a family discount?

There is a discounted rate available for families for the base registration fees. For the 2010 season, families pay the regular registration fee for the first two players then a reduction to only $75 for each additional player. Unfortunately this discount is not available in the online registration - so you will have to sign up in person during one of our recruitment dates.

4) What forms of payment are accepted?

Fastball St. Albert accepts cash and cheques or you can use a credit card if you sign up online.
Please make all cheques out to 'Fastball St. Albert''. Please note that Fastball St. Albert will not assume the costs associated with NSF cheques.

5) What is Fastball St. Albert's cancellation policy?

Full refunds are available prior to April 15, 2010. Partial refunds may be available prior to the commencement of the season. Once the season has commenced, no refunds will be available.

6) What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee includes the following:

• Alberta Softball Registration
• Insurance
• Uniform Jersey
• Use of Ball Diamonds
• Team Equipment
• Umpire Fees

Hats and ball gloves MUST be supplied by the player.

7) What nights do the different age divisions play?

All City-League teams play twice per week (assuming there are an even number of teams). The nights on which teams play is dependent upon the division to which they belong; please refer to the following table for details.
